Merino saddle covers

I got one, tried it twice and really hated the feeling.  It made my horse
feel really wide and put more torque on my knees.  I also felt like I was
sitting up on a big mattress or something. Might could have gotten used
to the mattress thing, but knees couldn't handle the width.  I still
didn't sell it...I worry that there'll be a situation where I need it. 
Offered to let the daughters use it and they didn't like it either.  Have
2 friends who rides with them and love them...they're both tall and very
leggy...I and my daughters have short legs...don't know if that's a clue
or not.  For the slick seat, have you considered the tights with more
traction?
