Well of course you are right, Howard. No true Southern Belle would stay
more than  a few nanoseconds in Yankee territory. First it would be
beneath her dignity. Second she would be so upset that she were not waited
on "hand an foot," that she would come back south where she would get that
deserved treatment by a Southern Gentlemen such as yourself.

So me thinks that we are seeing an example of a "closet yankee" here.

And yep when Randy Johnson came back in the last game after throwing 103 pitches the previous day and finished the Yankees off - now that was a display of athletic ability and pure grit. What a series - best one I've seen since 1979 when the Orioles blew a 3-1 lead to the Pirates.
