New Horseshoe Pad?

A friend told me about a new pad she heard about that you soak in water,
then put on the horse's foot.  It conforms to the shape of the sole so the
traction-ability is not lost, as happens with regular pads.  Does anyone
know anything about this pad?  (Like name, manufacturer, or--even had any
experience with it?)
