Re: Euphemisms



According to my scribble pad Frank Veritas described spooking as "threat
assessment capability" (probable date Sept. 2000).  When my horse's
reactions alarm folks I like to explain that this is  a desirable threat
assessment function which prevents successful stalking by lions, bunnies,
white rocks, or bird shadows.  My thanks to Frank for helping to find the
amusing side of spooking.  Tina
