Travel stops East

Hi all, We are thinking of going back to Spook Run in Nov and
are looking for rest stops along the way. We are from Central Oregon and
most likely will take I80 and drop down from Davenport Iowa, unless
someone suggest differently. What we need is places to spend the night, or
time to let the horses out to relax etc. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.
