If you get the hairline to 30 degrees, in most cases the horse's heel will
be considered exceptionally low in our usual judgment parameter...   High
heels is an "OLD School" thought...  many changes are coming.  Equus's
article is getting close this month.  Quite interesting.  They danced all
around about how bad shoes are for the horse, how important circulation is
for the horse... how the digital cushion sets the stage for a successful
mechanical foot... etc ,etc.... then mention... welll if U have to shoe...
guess they have to make a lot of farriers happy..... &.... sports fans....
if Ur not willing to commit to all the parameters (1) movement, (2) daily
moisture  (3)  the correct hoof care/trim.... simply going barefoot won't
work... so U might as well leave the shoes on & cut the horse's natural life
span in to.

Where is Dr. Loving's book does it say that horse's heel should be left
