Re: RE: Slower Ld's

Kathy, Just wanted you to know that I read every word of your post AGAIN,
and would still respond exactly the same way. I wasn't putting you down or
saying you did wrong -- just offering my opinion, and suggestions. But to
say that you've done "all your homework"???? I've been on horses for 24
years and endurance riding for 15 -- and I don't think I will ever have done
"all my homework". There is truly an ENDLESS amount of info to learn about
horses, and endurance riding -- don't ever be too sure that you know it all,
that's when you'll stop learning. I understand it was your first ride and
you didn't know he was going to be that way -- my point was that I know
SEASONED endurance horses who have those bad habits of being rude and trying
to cut off other horses, and I find them dangerous. So, don't expect things
like that to necessarily go away with more rides --although they may. And I
was also trying to stress that you don't need to start with ANYBODY (not
even the last 1/4 of the pack). Sorry if I offended you (I must have,
judging by your reply), it certainly wasn't intended. Happy trails.

 Whitney
