Lynn Turck
A narrow, twisting course would slow it down , logistically tough in some areas. The walking trails in some forests would be ideal if permission to use them was granted. These trails are single file only. To really slow it , a "snail" horse could go first, no one could pass and the pace would be controlled. But really what difference does it make how fast the ride is if the horses are ok and fit to continue? My first 50 was Hahira and at the first trough I asked the front 5 if the pace ever slowed down {I was told 50's were much better because everyone paced them} needless to say , the pace didn't slow. So are we going to try and slow 50's? [I did slow down and got 10 place]
