75's,Was ROC is back

Maggie,
Every distance sanctioned requires a seperate santioning fee, $10.00.
Then there would be another set of awards. And figuring out trail logistics
(if you don't have 100 going too). If you have 2 trails that add up to 25
miles, 50's ride them twice, do you want to ride them again for the 75?
If there isn't a 100 too, your vets & ride help will need to stay longer. If
there is a 100, experienced riders will do it, not 75, you may have just a
rider or 2 in each.
I've been to the midwest rides where they have multidistance endurance AND
competitive rides going on at the same time & it boggles the mind to imagine
how they keep everything straight!
Personally, when I was riding 100's, 75-80 miles was my lowest point. I was
already finishing 50's in good shape, but around 75 miles I'd just want to
cry. Even doing several 100 in a season it didn't get better. I don't know
if I'd have ever gone on to ride farther if I could have quit there. Once
I'd get out on that last 15-20 miles or so it got better!! I think part of
the rush is finding out you CAN do something you feel like you can't!
