people diet & endurance



  We don't suffer from low blood sugar so I can't speak authoritatively on 
that. My daughter Sarah & I carry Cliff Bars in our saddle bags. Also extra 
packs of Emergen-C for our water. Sometimes you just need some filling, 
solid food on the trail. The Ciff bars really stick with you! I packed the 
Ice Series Cliff bars w/ caffiene for Sarah on the VC 100. She said they 
were great for keeping her alert the whole 19 hours that she rode!
  BTW, Sarah & Raven finished 22nd on the VC 100! More about that later!
