In the 1972 Olympic games in Munich there was the kidnapping and murder of
Israeli athletics by Terrorist. Then there was the bombing at the Atlanta
Olympics. Whit this current attack, the Salt Lake City organizers are taking a
serious look at their security.

The requirement to secure an endurance course boggles the imagination. Oh I'm
sure it could be done, but the cost would not be low.
