Re: garlic!!!

Lynn,
Thank you. I still continue to give 1/4 tsp dose Source micronutrients (sea
kelp) based to dogs and horses. Read Susan G.'s post. Did check Toxic
Manual for horses and it discusses toxity dangers of "onions" and chives for
horses, dogs, and esp. cats. Ususally in the springtime when they are
likely to eat this. Dangers of garlic overdose seem to ge if you feed 1/2
pound to a horse. That is Lots of Garlic. I feel any herb we can use as
helpful would be dangereous in too large amounts.
Even my Healthy Herbs (book for people useage) indicates garic in brandy as
a tinture for our consumption...the daily dose is 3 to 5 Drops!!
I also look to Italians health, usually attibuted to garlic, cooked
tomatoes, and olive oil and vinegars....yum! Heading to the kitchen to see
what's for supper!!
I continue to "research":) Go easy and tiny doses. Even very beneficial
can be dangerous in wrong amounts!
