barefoot horses

I have competed a barefoot horse at the Florida three day 100 mile 
competitive trail ride.  The mare was living in Georgia and had been 
barefoot since November.  She completed the ride in great style, 
won the grand championship!  You should have seen everyone's 
face when she did the required final trot out on a cement strip, 
instead of clip, clop, she was almost silent.  It was only then that it 
dawned on everyone that she was barefoot!
