To Howard and others speaking like him, Some people need the generators to
support medical equipment. We try to lead
normal lives and do the same things others enjoy. I'm sorry if some of
you are offended at rides by our generator,
but I enjoy riding and being outdoors. We usually check with ride
managers on where to park so we won't bother
people. Be a little kinder and think before you are so quick to critize
some of us without knowing why we use generators.

Howard, why don't you ride your horse to the ride leave you Damn Deisel or
gas guzzler parked at home, roll out you bed
roll and sleep under the stars? We have parked outside of the ride areas
and rode several miles to rides when camps are
to small.  But we were kept awake by the Howards of the world  coming and
going all night for beer runs with their loud
Deisel rigs. This would help on pollution and keep the late night beer
parties to a minimum.

Medical equipment?  You ride a horse with an oxygen tank attached?  I'm sure the majority of generator users use them cause they have medical equipment on board.  Yea, right.  That's got to be about .00001 percent of people attending endurance rides.  Please, come up with a better excuse.  I'm not buying that one at all.

And it's spelled diesel, not deisel.  I'm correcting you since you did it twice and you already seem to be quite a moron so I'd like to help you out in the spelling area.  You obviously need some sort of help.

You've taken some of my stories (please, do us both a favor and quit reading them) too literally.  I'm an old guy and my partying days are just about over.  I go to bed early these days and at a ride I will try and get some sleep before the 10pm generator curfew.  But with the incredible noise they make that's near impossible. Even if I was a loud partier, you certainly wouldn't be able to hear me with your damn generator running.

The only point you try to make that comes close to being sensible is air pollution.  The day they make an electric truck that can pull my horses I promise you I'll buy one.  I'm sure the motor home you're driving or whatever it is you live in doesn't foul the air a bit. And that generator you run puts out real clean air too; right?  Like I said, learn to spell, get a life, and I hope your health improves (want a smoke? a beer?)  And, how bout putting your name to your letter next time, even though I'm hoping there won't be a next time.

cya,

Howard (don't get upset with me John D; I know you have a good reason to run one, but your Honda invertor doesn't make the incredible noise that the el cheapo generators do.  I think this person is just trying to ride on your coat tails cause the medical equpment is the only reason anyone has come up with so far that might be forgivable for running those monsters. But come on, how many endurance riders, or their crew/guests, really meet that criteria?)
