Fleece pads v. others

Since someone posted a website about wool fleece pads and they look
awesome, I was just wondering about riders` preference for a wool fleece
pad over others.
I currently have a Shedrow SupraQuilt airflow pad - it is cotton and the
top side looks like an imitation fleece (i.e. synthetic amterials I think)
