There is a potential  problem with a gait without a hold. If this gait
requires pulse to be reached, then you must have sufficient pulse takers there
to make sure no one gets delayed because of lines. At 13 miles almost everyone
is going to arrive at the same time which could cause a real problem. If it is
just a trot by, no pulse parameter then it should work fine. A short hold -
say 15 minutes - is a way to eliminate this problem of lines. No hold for 25
miles on a 75 sounds fine. Riders just have to grow up and learn to take care
of their horses on long loops.
