campers

I have pulled over 150,000 miles with a bumper pull and very large camper
and then changed to a smaller camper. I love my Lance campers that I have
owned. While I was going to high school rodeo with my daugher we had a 11
ft camper with sway bars and equalizer hitch pulled with a dually. Never
had any trouble. We could hook that outfit up in minutes and ready to
roll but that was on highway and good roads. For endurance I sold my
large camper and went to an 8.5 ft Lance so I don't need an extended hitch
or sway bars. For two people (not including teenage daughter who has
enough clouthes to furnish a store) there is plenty of room. I still have
my queen size bed, AC, heater, shower, refrigerator etc., just not as much
closet space.

I would suggest to stay away from extended hitch if you are planning on
going off road. I believe that a 9-9.5 does not need an extended hitch.
