Kudzu/yum!

There was a stable near here that literally almost had a horse die when
it became totally entangled in Kudzu.  It was a big pasture boarding
facility (translation: 100 acres with a bunch of horses turned out to
fend for themselves) with a huge hill covered with Kudzu in the far back
field.  The horse got tangled up and couldn't get out and almost died of
thirst before somebody happened to venture out there.  They thought he'd
gotten tangled while climbing out into the stuff to eat. I always
wondered if he didn't just fall asleep near it and the kudzu grew around
him.  Like...what was that movie...Jumangi???

P.S. They didn't learn their lesson with Kudzu...they put milfoil in our
lakes too. :-P
