Pine Tree was fantastic! Such a beautiful and well-run ride - hats off to
Tom Hutchison and friends. BTW, Meg Sleeper on her mare (1st time 100
miler!)came in 10th with me and Shi and Heather was actually 12th, I
believe...16 of 29 finished the 100. To me, the amazing story was Valerie
Kanavy's comeback on Bearcat to finish 3rd after doing "a few" extra
miles - was fun to try to keep up with her for part of the 3rd loop! My
mom, Shiloh and I made it back to Richmond in less than 17 hours using
I-95 - our toll on the NJ turnpike was over $17 bucks but it was worth it
to get home quicker!
