The recipe I used called  for equal parts of distilled vinegar, distilled
water & Dawn soap.

        Maybe this recipe is wrong---the one I have is for THREE DROPS of
Dawn to 1/2 gallon of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 gallon of water.   I have
not sprayed my horses with this as yet (just the barn), but I have used it
on my own skin and have had no ill effects.
