Hi everyone! I just came across this site.. and endurance rides sound like what I'd really enjoy. I have no idea when I'd ever even be able to go, if Bob and I are ready at all! but here's a little about us..
Ok I'm 15 and I own a 10 y/o Arab gelding "Bob" (Barbary Star) I think he is in good shape, we have been going on long trail rides in the hill country with people from my barn. On Sunday we went on a 5 1/2 mile ride, and even though we didn't cover much ground we did a lot of backtracking, hills, and weren't exactly 'taking it slow.' So I think we might be able to handle a long ride, but I don't know anything yet! I live in San Antonio so I was wondering if anyone knew of anything in the area? 
I would really appreciate your opinions! Thanks a lot..
