Re: RC: young adults & Endurance

Hey there! I'm just a newbie to endurance, have only volunteered at one ride before, but I know what you're saying. My husband and I (both 27) have had the same experience in his hobby of passion, aviation. We're still always the 'young'uns' at every event or meeting. Luckily for him, though, he's proven himself as a very competent pilot and airplane mechanic so that many of the our 'aviation' friends who don't have the time to fly as often as they like, let him fly their planes. (planes like horses, should be kept active to keep in good condition)
Wish I could find somebody to do that with their endurance horse!

No matter, Mercedes should be ready for her first ride in the fall, and once we get our shed put up, hubbie can start working on his airplane restoration project. Then neither of us will have to mooch off of anyone! haha

Besides, it's nice to bask in the wisdom of our elders. (no sarcasm intended here) And some of them are pretty hip.......Howard was quoting Limp Bizkit not long ago.

Keep horsing around!
