Overnight stay en route to Florida from Virginia

I am seeking offers/suggestions of good place to stay for a night for my gelding and possibly myself.   We are both usually well-behaved and good company!  I would think we might get to Fayetteville NC?  This would be about 2/6/01.  I am preprared to pay for accommodations.  With thanks.  Emily Richardson                             .
