I've used Equi-Pak on my mare for nearly 3 years.  It is wonderful stuff and
truly protects the sole, frog, and entire hoof capsule.  Since it's "poured"
in, it custom fits to the shape of your horse's sole.  There is no room for
debris to get in under the pad.  The foot is trimmed and shod in the normal
way, and then the farrier shoots in the Pak.

In colder weather, it takes a bit longer to set (about 10 minutes), but in
warmer weather (like 60) it sets in just a couple of minutes.
