RE: Snooty people

I was in our local Great Clips establishment getting my oldest daughter a
haircut early on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened. As I was sitting
there waiting for her to get clipped, a woman walked in to get a clip also
and she had on a nice embroidered barn jacket with her barn name and also
the Arabian Nationals on it. I got excited and started a conversation by
making a statement, "Oh, you're into arabs are you?" and her reply to me was
"Yes I am." What do you do with them? and she said coldly, "I show!" I said
"That's great! I do endurance riding." She didn't respond at all to that and
the conversation ended. You know, if I was a breeder and did shows for
money, I'd sure have a different attitude when I had a chance to brag on my
stable and horses and winnings and maybe even sell a horse as a result. That
was for sure the snootiest (sp) conversation I've ever had with anyone
concerning horses.

Too bad for her. I have fun with my sport:)

Happy Tails,
Susan and the ayrab crew who do endurance and like it.
