Yup, chronic wasting disease, also in the deer, most of them here in this
area of northern CO.  They've also identified it in ranched elk, but because
they can't diagnose except though postmortem examination, they don't know
exactly how widespread it is.  APHIS is working like hell to develop an
ELISA test for it.
