Hi Eva,

Purina Mills does make a higher fiber complete with roughage feed called
Horse Chow 200. The tag is 14.0% protein, 2.0 % fat, 25% fiber, 1125 cal/lb
Digestible Energy. It is designed to be similar to what you would get
combining Omolene 200 with roughage, Is used by allot by Packers that go
into areas where there is little or no roughage and need a complete feed
with roughage. Feeding recommendations; For a 800# Icelandic, in good body
condition, moderate work, 17# day. 1000# horse under same parameters would
consumed 21# a day. That could be lowered depending on how much grazing is
allowed.
