Re: Choosing a horse

Personally the 2nd one would be my chosen one for endurance, just needs some
handle on him! The other would make a good CTR horse!

which one to train for endurance. They are both quarter horse mix, Ranger is
about 15 hands, very laid back and easy to handle but also very slow and has
a rough trot. He's 10 yrs old. Joe Joe is 13, just over 14 hands and a
go-getter, much higher strung, I constantly have to hold him back and he has
very slow brakes at a full gallop. I have been advised that Ranger will
probably become more energetic with training and that his temperament is
more suited for this sport. I feel like I can work with both of them for
about two more weeks before my time will be eaten up as we move to more
strenous workouts.
