  By 2, I'm counting the first vet -in and the mid ride check.    And
thanks everyone for the cold replies.  Scarlet is just as bad as I am.  I
have tried to let her grow a winter coat -- let her shiver for nearly 3
days, with all the other horses getting shaggy and not an extra bit of
fluff on her, before I gave in.  Now she gets blanketed as soon as it
goes below 55 and has a really heavy blanket for the 30's.  We're both S.
Texas born and bred. :o)
