ran off public road

A friend of mind was riding on a public road with a group of one other rider and a horse and cart.  A older blue pickup with old style blue and white Nevada plates came at them at a high rate of speed.  My friend rode her horse to the middle and tried to wave him down to let him know that there were horses on the road (this is a dirt road)  He laid on his horn and came at her as if to hit her.  He stoped and cussed them out for riding on his road and that horses made the road washboard.  He got out of his truck at this point and just give them hell.  After the man in the cart started after him he left.  The group got a plate # and what the person looked like and called the police.  There responce was that thay would get back to them.  This is not the first time that this person has endangered riders he did the same thing to my friend and I about two years ago before we had cell phones.  This took place in Reno. Has enyone else  had this happen I would like to know .  The road is Chickdee in the back of Lemmon Valley.  It is the first couple of miles of the Comstock held in Oct. This person is dangerous and I would like to see him stopped before he kills someone or thire horse. Dovie
