The policy for the company at which I work is that the Internet can be for personal use (G-rated, of course) on breaks and during lunch.  Basically, 1 and a half hours' worth of time.  I respect this.  And I am grateful for the empowerment - we are allowed to manage our own time, at least in my department.  In return, I give 110 percent.  (But in my 21 years with the company I have been in departments where we are monitored like rats, our bathroom breaks timed, our outgoing calls monitored.  You just have to adapt.)

You guys have the wrong attitude!! I also use my computer at work to receive ridecamp and my motto is:
