I have a Troxel Sport helmet and I often don't remember that I have it on.  
At the end of a conditioning ride, I frequently leave it on until I have 
finished grooming my horse and have put him away.  It is so unobtrusive (and 
I usually hate headwear of any kind!!). "Try it, you'll like it".
