And you DIDN'T take any ibuprofen or aspirin, right????  Was reminded at a
nice safety presentation at our awards banquet on Saturday that our brains
definitely reside in our skulls (well, at least some of us have brains
there!) and in light of a terrible head trauma injury at a ride suffered by
a Michigan rider last year, we have all been reminded not to take any kind
of pain reliever that thins the blood before a ride...take a Tylenol if you
must for headache or in anticipation of aches and pains but DO NOT take
anything else.  Should you be thrown and suffer a head injury as Alison
describes here, you could bleed to death!  Fellow riders, take heed! 
Helmets and NO ibuprofen!
