WONDERFUL. I spend a zillion dollars to win a $50 award and they want to
make it $30. :-((( How come Million Pines Ride can afford jackets for top
10 on one ride, but AERC can't see their way clear to reward an entire
year of work.  Maybe this is to deemphasize the regional awards and put
more attention on the National Championship rides where everybody got a
heavy winter coat?  Looks like I'll have to clean up my house, buy new
furniture and invite people over to show it off....or maybe I'll just cut
a hole in the middle and make a poncho.
