RE: "wintec saddles" and others

My experience with a Wintec saddle was not too positive. I thought
it was comfortable except I my leg kept on sliding back while going
uphill. The weight distribution didn't work and put a lot of strain
on my horses loins. Apparently because the panels are so "giving"
pressure points develop very easily in this type of saddle for distance
riding. But for hacking around the yard, I think there is a lot
to be said for having an inexpensive saddle that is easy to clean
and is comfortable like the Wintec. Most of the riders that I know
ride in specific endurance style saddles - Big Horn, SR Enduro,
Ortho-Flex.... I ride with a ReactorPanel saddle and just love it.

I'd like to know more about the wintec endurance saddles and what others
are riding in, especially those riding gaited horses. I hope to "find"
a couple of Pasos for my husband and I and would like to know what
saddles riders are doing long distance riding in. And bridles too!
