Well, the joke is that nobody has the foggiest idea what inbred athleic 
potential consists of in the performance horse. Breeders can say they do, but 
no breeder I ever met knew much about the actual science of genetics, much 
less about the physiological factors that lead to athletic prowess. If 
"heart" is your bottom line, then you're talking mythology, not science.
