Re: Saddle pad advice

I use a dressage saddle for endurance and very much like my shaped sheepskin
pad. It does not mat down and washes beautifully and air dries overnight.
Plus it looks really neat. I am a lightweight and don't usually feel that I
need more padding. Got mine from Dressage Extensions. I also like the
Professional's Choice pad but the brushed cotton lining absorbs sweat and
because of the sewn in dense foam, it is a bear to wash. (and it needs
washing after almost every ride). For the long rides where I want more pad,
I use this one with a liner. Somehow, I am always experimenting with felt,
cotton, wool (the woolback seems to slip more) but end up with the sheepskin
as my pad of choice.
