Kandee Haertel: the new CEO of ELCR

Good news!   Kandee Haertel of Illinois, equestrian political activist
extraordinaire, well-known writer, horseowner, and honorary member of
AERC's Trails Committee, has just won the appointment as Executive
Director of the Washington D.C-based Equestrian Land Conservation
Resource (effective Feb. 14).  ELCR's board of directors conducted a
national search for this position and Kandee's outstanding qualifications
won her the post.    ELCR is dedicated to achieving access to and
conservation of land for equestrian and other compatible uses through
education and partnerships.  Congratulations, Kandee!   We have a live
