Angie,
I plan to copy this (maybe Steph could put it in the archives or
something?) and use it when I am asked to sponsor...I have told all the
kids that have asked me about riding with me that they first have to come
along and pit crew at least once, preferably twice and maybe even not then
and then only on a 25 LD.  You made some excellent points which could also
apply to some who want someone to "ride with" on the trail and then blame
their ride partner for whatever goes wrong.  Thanks again for good writing!
