Yes.  I was twelve, her name was Surprise, she was a tenneesee walker and
I'd ridden her all over our family fields outside of Shreveport and when she
tested positive to EIA, she was put down.  I cried, and the vet explained to
me why it had to be so, so all the other horses would be kept safe.

A simple concept.  I understood it completely, and I was only twelve.
