Re: Re: Supracor Saddle pad.

Hi,

You will need a 1" x 1-1/2" strip of velcro with adhevise on the back of the velcro...depends on the size of your sensor.  (I buy strip velcro with adhesive at the fabric store)  You will only use the "soft fuzzy" half.  Your sensor has velcro on the back, right?  Put your pad on the horse and stick the "fuzzy" to the sensor.  Put the sensor where you want it behind the withers on the horse's back under the pad...push the pad down on the sensor.  This should attach the velcro fuzzy to the pad where you want the sensor.  You can attach sensor here whenever you need to.  Most horses don't object to that piece of velcro there, but watch your horse's skin if he is the sensitive type.  I have used my pad and HRM on several rides and have no problems.

Ranetta and others:  Would you have any suggestions on how to attach a heart rate monitor under the Supracor Cool Grip pad?  Several people at my stable are using the pads and are very pleased with them.  Haven't seen any of them riding with a heart monitor, though.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
