RE: RE: Rescue Remedy

I was introduced to Bach Flower Remedies years ago in Canada and I keep a
bottle of Rescue Remedy on my desk. Amazing how often I find it useful when
executives come in raving about something or other. Wonder what they all
think of the change in things since I took over. Used that and Arnica when a
17 yr old stepped on the paw of one of my terriers, she was fine by morning.
And the cream is the best thing in the world for burns. I'm a total skeptic
on everything...til it works. Would indeed drive ti crazy, but might be good
for him.

Rescue Remedy is found VERY readily in California through health
food stores and our many New Age books & stuff stores. It is
a Bach Flower Remedy. Diana Thompson does equine homeopathy
and taught us to use it in her weekend course. Rescue Remedy
is often used as the "base" for her concoctions. She would
dilute a few drops into a few ounces of water in a sprayer
"concuss" it and use it for behavioural and emotional issues.
You really don't need to be a homeopath to use it and there
are no ill effects from it.

It seems rather surreal, but it actually works to calm the
horse down. She had a warmblood that was in total reactionary
pain calmed way down using the Rescue Remedy and something else.
She added a little accupressure to the mix and the horse
started to become more relaxed right away. Something that
would drive Tom Ivers nuts because it's so "alternative."

She also teaches Bach Flower Remedies through Equinology.

She is, however, not on our list!

I haven't used it myself because it's only one of the many
tools that she taught me thru her wonderful course. My horses
had more body issues than behavioural issues.

Rescue Remedy is brilliant for almost anything. I have the email address
of
one in Canada someplace and can try to find it.

Are there any Homeopaths on our list?

Thanks
