Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy

In the November Horse Show magazine there is an 
interesting article on ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave 
Therapy), page 70.  
This is a therapy that is being explored 
for use of acute suspensory ligament damage, 
chronic, slow-healing suspensory disease as well as other bone and lameness problems.    
There will be a presentation on this theraby at the upcoming AAEP Convention in San Antonio.  I thought this might be of interest to our endurance vets who may be going to the convention.
