I get really jealous hearing about all the rides everywhere
  else but
Michigan this time of year!  Nelson and I had even toyed with
  the idea of
trying to hit some of the "closer" rides (Minnesota or Ohio or
  even Fort
Valley rides) when I realized our coggins were 6 months old last
  week!
Since we are talking about educating newbies here and as far as out
  of state
rides are concerned, I am really a newbie there yet...what do you
  seasoned
folks do for strategy to get the most out of your coggins?
  Maybe that
doesn't sound right...I remember I had mine done so that it
  would cover us
through the last ride in Michigan.  If we go out of
  state though that
paperwork will become quite important it seems!!  Is
  it just something you
have done every 6 months (or more or less?) and
  figure on doing just like
you do vaccinations and wormings and the like? I
can't find my EN so will
you tell me about where this Hahira ride is
  (Georgia I think)?  Maybe I
should just take road trips to warmer
climes and volunteer when I can't
ride!!  Yeah, right....I don't know
if I could handle not riding!!  :)
