Debbie----No need for the "sorry" We're all green to one degree or another...I sure wouldn't try a different pad...when in doubt..NEVER try something for the first time on a ride! Maybe after this ride you could get a wool pad and see how it works for you and your horse on your conditioning rides..I think it would be a good idea to use electrolytes...Before and after anyway..You need to start practicing administering them...and getting accustomed to wearing them all over your hand arms face and neck....;o)If you haven't gone there already...check out the ride camp archives...and someone has a list of everything you could possibly ever need to take to an endurance ride...can't remember who it is...but I'm sure he/she will chime in here...Have fun! ----- Original Message ----- From: <Goodwn2400@aol.com> To: <ridecamp@endurance.net> Sent: Wednesday, October 18, 2000 7:19 PM Subject: RC: Re: First Ride > I am taking a baby step forward and trying a 15 mile Competitive Trail Ride > this Saturday and was hoping for a few tips or pointers from you "Upper > classmen/women".
