I kept a private and rude reply private - certainly it bears repeating that a
3 year old may be enthusiastic but is NOT experienced, mature NOR any KIND of
a good decision maker. I am in mind of one profound statement - what would
the replies be like right now if the child HAD gone off and God forbid had
died? Well, that horse is "bombproof" - Cliffy had a GREAT time; his mom was
there every step of the way. None of this would matter would it? I am
personally relieved that he DID have a Greta time and return intact but in no
way would I consider that license to do that to my own kids. Sorry, but a 3
year old who loves it wouldn't sway the good sense God gave me.
