Yes but I wouldn't dream of initiating a disease on purpose. Neither would I 
send my child out on any kind of expedition that common sense told me was 
above their ability to handle i something should go wrong. Diseases happen 
sadly enough - accidents on horses don't have to and a baby for all intents 
and purposes is most vulnerable no matter how much fun they are having. I 
think I am safer on my horse than in my car but I have to go in my car. My 
child is most likely safer as well but only if nothing goes wrong. I guess 
priorities are different for everyone but safety is a huge issue to me with 
my daughters, even now - especially now - they are that most dreaded of all 
humankind - TEENAGERS!
