Cheap Riding Tights

Our area Costco has Champion brand tights that have fleece inside. I bought
two pairs last year, and rode in them all winter. Our climate is fairly
mild, so they were OK by themselves in the 40-50 degree range and worked
great for layering under stuff if it was colder. I rode Alpine last weekend
with a pair under my Carousels, and spent the whole day pretty much wet, but
was not cold. They don't have knee patches or stirrups, but for $17.99 they
are very practical. Fred Meyer carries them for $38. They come in navy, black
and grey, S, M and L. They have held up well, and I haven't had a problem
with holes, like the Danskins I use when their on sale. They have them for a
very limited time, and the blues and blacks go fast. If you have a Costco in
your area and are a member or can get someone to take you, it's worth looking
at them. jeri
