Re: Ponies on the Trail??

Hi

One of the most consistently successful junior riders mounts in the Uk is a
13 hh welsh section c (pony of cob type). She was the only junior rider
fininsher for her owner Fiona Hamilton at a recent big French ride ,to give
an idea of the size differential to other riders and their mounts the two
french riders finishing along side her lifted her up of the pony and aloft
at the end!

this pony had one of the highest awards at the v. tough Golden Horse shoe
hundred mile ride this year. Two other successful ponies are Margif Cariad
welsh sec c) and Trixie guess what welsh section c. They are riden by
children who are taller than me ( Im an adult). Thye are very very tough and
sure footed. The only down side is heat dispersal.
