Re: RE: sweet potato ok for horses?



Right now is the height of sugar beet harvest season and sure enough, there
are about 100 tons piled in an enormous mountain about 200 yards from my
house.  I cut it up into little chunks and my horses think they've died and
gone to heaven.  I figure petty larceny is fair payment for when they start
loading the sugar beets day and night into trucks---you can hear the
"thunder" for miles.  But the good news is that my dogs are totally
desensitized to thunderstorms. <g>
